Can't connect to the site via VPN
 

Good morning!

Strange problem, I hope someone can help me - when I try to connect to the site via VPN, it is always blocked. If I disable the VPN, I can connect immediately. Can anyone give me some tips as to what to do?

The issue seemed to solve itself just after I posted above, but I will leave the initial post here in case anyone has any advice or comments.

I spoke too soon! The problem is back again, but I am wondering if it because of my choice of server for the VPN.....I will see what happens in the next day or too and give you an update here.

While I was living on the Mainland, there usually was no conflict between flyertalk and the Great Firewall. When flyertalk was blocked, everything was blocked anyway.

Make sure that if you are in China, your VPN actively keeps making adjustments so that any tweaks that is made by the Firewall can be thwarted.

Thanks for your comment. What I didn't mention in my post (I guess I should have done so) is that the problem only occurs on my pc, not on my smartphone. Yesterday, for example, Flyertalk wouldn't open on my pc if I was using the VPN, but all other sites, including Facebook and Youtube, were fine. But on my smartphone, which was also connected to the same VPN, there was no problem opening Flyertalk.

Today, no problem, so I will just keep an eye on what happens.
