Validation codes for Freddie voting?
 

I'm trying to cast my vote for the Freddies. When I enter the 'validation code' in the box below, I receive the following error:

"Sorry. The validation code you entered was incorrect."

Is there something wrong here? I've checked and double-checked, and am certain I've entered the details correctly.

were there characters that looked similar to other characters? e.g. l (L) and 1 (ONE)?

I've refreshed the page, and the new validation code (six characters) worked fine. The first code appeared to be only five characters.

I realise that these things are designed to baffle automated voters, but the first one I got baffled me, too.
