Omni breaks frequently.

Is it the association threads?

PremEx Dec 9, 2003 8:48 pm

OMNI dead. Other parts of FT Travel seem slower, as well.

That certainly has been suggested before. Taking an already corrupted thread, re-naming it, and posting 1000s more times can't be world's best UBB practice. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I looked into OMNI and didn't see any obvious corruption indicators. The forum seems to load fine for me at this end.

Is it still crawling/not loading for all of you?

wharvey Dec 10, 2003 1:15 pm

Been working fine here.

OMNI has been broken for about 10 minutes now.

I want my money back! Err . . . never mind. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Whenever there are Omni problems (and one can still access the FT Travel page) I look at the time stamp of the last OMNI mesage.

I've noticed that if the lack of access is sporadic or localized, the time stamp moves forward as others with intact access continue to post.

In this case, (for me) it's been stuck on 11:21 AM MST since, well, 11:21 http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks for your help.
