Email alerts stopped coming
Hi,
The Email Notification feature stopped working for me when my ISP screwed up my account. My account was fixed the next day, but the notifications never resumed, even on new topics. Can someone fix this for me? TIA! |
Not sure that there is anything that we can do.
Did your ISP change your email address? Another possibility is that your ISP's mail server is doing spam blocking and sees mail from the FT server as spam, in either case we can't really help you, you'd have to talk to your ISP. |
No, that's not the problem. My address is fine and I get plenty of Spam! This only started when my address was accidently killed by my ISP. The address works fine now, but I don't get any email alerts from here. It seems like something is wedged on your server. What commonly happens is that the server will place bad addresses in a special file and it won't send any more mail to that address until you remove it from the file.
Can you please check your server to see if you can find a bad mail file somewhere? Thanks! |
We haven't set up any kind of bad mail rule like that on FT. Sorry.

Acutally, I'm not getting them either...
