thread titles & status randomly not updating in IE

I posted a reply to it, for a total of 2 replies.

I then looked again at the list of topics, and the # of replies and the time of last post didn't update to show the added post.

I cleared my cache, closed IE 6.0, and viewed it again. Still no change.

It could be an issue related to your ISP using a web proxy server. Difficult oir us to tell, but this is a common problem.

Yes, like John says, some networks cache the more commonly accessed sites. Since you did clear out your cache and restarted IE to no effect, try holding down the shift key and reloading the thread list page to see if that forces the browser to go grab the latest copy off our server.

Yup. My web proxy at work is notorious for holding cached information, so once I do a complete forum sweep, I refresh the main page to "catch up".
