ft is bombarding me with LOTS of "download flash 7" windows
 
....about one every 15 seconds or so. is there any way to stop it (without downloading that annoying piece of software)?

John and Rudi seem to have identified the problem in the nearby thread, -- those "USA Today" ads with all the "flash" and moving graphics etc were not only INCREDIBLY distracting, but seemed to add bugs to the FT operation platform.
