Smaller Font Size??

Okay, so I'm getting up in years, and my eyes may be deceiving me, but has anyone noticed that the font size on the "Thread Starter", "Date", is smaller than the thread's title on all the forums? What happened?

This was probably done to compensate for the space taken up to the right by the new skyscraper banners. This issue/problem is also discussed here.

Thanks, HV,

Didn't realize that the ads caused the changes, but I did also notice lots of "white space" under the smaller threads and forums. Doesn't make for comfortable reading, as in the past.

The white space is because the minimum height of the page is now the height of the ad, even if the posts in total are shorter.

But is it really necessary to have the same ad running at the top, right side, and bottom of a page? While I understand that FT needs the ad revenue (and I'm not disputing this fact), does running the same ad on three sides of a page bring in additional revenue? It's distracting to say the least. Making the smaller fonts, and extra white space on the shorter forums, takes away from the ease and enjoyment of reading them.
