How to find old threads?
I tried to find a thread from 1999 in the Trip Report forum, but it looks like I can only go back one year. I always thought a great benefit of Flyertalk was a permanent archive of information. Trip Reports are the type of information that should be preserved as long as possible.
I know someone has to pay for the data storage, but if any forum should be saved, it's trip reports. Or is it there and I just haven't found a way to retrieve it? |
You've already tried searching the archives stimpy?
http://makeashorterlink.com/?Q26B51805 --- FWIW, I found this one: http://www.flyertalk.com/pasttalk/ft...ML/000012.html [This message has been edited by doc (edited 06-24-2003).] |
Stimpy, like doc says, take a look through the FT Archives, since everything older than 6 months should be over there.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of the archives. Seek and ye shall find, I guess.
Am I correct in assuming that we cannot add to those threads and have them show up as new on Flyertalk? |
Yes, you are correct in this regard! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I have been trying to find the old Montreal FAQ pictures and when I go to this:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum.../000149-4.html link, it takes me nowhere. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif Any ideas? Does anybody have any of the pictures? |
Punki, while I did not see the photos themselves, here is the active link:
