Airport Code Look Up

The link on the homepage doesn't seem to link to the right page.

I just checked it and it seemed to work fine. Are you getting a 404 (File Not Found) error?

korea71 May 29, 2003 12:49 pm

when I mouse over it, the link that it's going to is www.flyertalk.com

korea71 May 29, 2003 12:50 pm

What happens when you actually click on it?

It goes to the main page at www.flyertalk.com
I emptied my cache. I am using IE 6.0.2800 Am I the only one having this problem? I thought after the crash, someone just forgot to correct the hyperlinks. I assume you see the correct hyperlinks from the home page when you mouse over the links.

Do you have Javascript turned off? The link spawns a window that loads the pages within. Popup blocking shouldn't affect this, as the window is spawned by the same page (not some ad, etc.).

Are you using Earthlink or some other type of popup blocking service? We haven't seen any other comments about this.

Airport Code Lookup

When I mouse over each of the above links, I can see the destination at the bottom of my browser. It is only for New User's Guide and Airport Lookup that the links go to the main page. I am not using any blockers. I am using SBC DSL. I would just assume if I had problems, I would have them for all links and not just a couple. Very strange. Let me try to send a prnt page.

Yeah, you won't get the absolute link path to those two areas, since we use Javascript to pop open the destination windows. The link portion just points to the FT main page, but it actually triggers a Javascript that loads the true page into a popup window.

Have you actually clicked on the link to see where it goes?

Dan,

Now it works. Just in time to make me feel like a total idiot. It really wasn't working yesterday. Thanks for your time.
