I have had an intermittent problem with posts (of others) not appearing on a timely basis and sometimes disapperaing and reappearing days later.

As I follow some threads, I notice the most recent post sometimes had not appeared when I compare the posts with the last dated post time on the main page. Sometimes it is only off by an hour or two (which is understandable), but sometimes it appears many posts are not there yet from even days before(by comparing the thread reply count and date with the contents of the thread.)

Less often, threads posts (not the whole thread)disappear. For example in FT Community, there is a Do in the DC area on 4/19. The laast post I have been able to see for the last few days is dated 4/2. Yet several days ago, I saw more recent posts which are now missing. When this has happened in the past, they have sometimes reappeared days later.

Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? I have tried using various computers (university system, Kinko's) and have the same problem.

I had originally done a search on my above question using "lag" but didn't find anything, but have done a more extensive look at prior postings. Some of the suggestions under "Have you encountered this problem before?" regarding refreshing and not using the back button seeme to have worked. Thanks.

Ive also been noticing the lag lately.
