No Access to FT- past weekend

Over this past weekend, I could not through to the FT web site, using Internet Explorer.

What happened?

In the future, if a similar problem develops, are there alternate ways of accessing the web site? I do not have the Netscape search tool. Also, is there a toll-free help number, if one has problems accessing the web site?

It would be nice if at least the Flyertalk.com led to a page that said something to the effect of 'this site is under maintenance.'

In any case, I went through withdrawal symptoms. Glad FT is back up.

Wow, a toll-free number you want? A free service should provide no less!

I agreee. Even a direct link to Starwood's web site might do the trick. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Not that anybody owes us anything, but I wondered if we are gonna get a clue as to why FT was down all weekend?

We don't know. The server evidentally went down Friday night and was back up Monday am.

Sounds poodle or monkey related to me.

John, is there anyone we can reach in the weekend when FT goes down? I think everyone was waiting for you at FT central to reboot it while you actually didn't know she was down... I don't think I could survive another weekend without FT http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
