Sorry, Punki. I base my time on the Apple Time Server in Cupertino!

Change it? are you all mad? We've had a few years set on US time I think it's time we euro members get to use our time for at least a year http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Yep it is screwy. Made a post to "In The News' about Steve Fossetts completed balloon trip, and it remained about half way down the News page. Not at top where it would normally go at 2am!

Just made a Happy 4th July post in Community and it is time coded (correctly) at 2.10am but there are about 7 threads above it bearing 3am, 4am, 5am, 6am, type time codes all showing July 4. Be interested to see if someone posts to that new thread what time code your post shows up as and where it ends up on that Forum.

But right now the time in Colorado Springs as I post this is 2.25 am so THAt looks correct now. (And on Punki's sundial/moondial I imagine is in that general region? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif )

Of course if FT wants to share around the hosting of time zones from Europe to oz for even more fun, please re-set it to 6.25 PM On July 4th. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Something amiss with the timestamp?

I'm browsing around right now and there seem to be many posts from 3am July 4th. Given that it is only 8pm here in San Francisco, on July 3rd, those times seem a bit odd.

Looks like it's set on GMT right now.

Punki Jul 4, 2002 5:28 am

Test Actually, according to my Geochron, it is 10 minutes slow.

I didn't think the pilots got lost on the way today. I left Seattle at 2:30PM on Weds the 3rd, and somehow arrived on the east coast at 6AM on the 4th.... I knew I feel asleep on that second flight from ORD, but, did I really miss out on 8 hours? It feels like when you fly to Australia....

John at Webflyer Jul 4, 2002 6:47 am

Yes it's off -- the new server has a bad time. I'll have it fixed shortly....

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 9:39 am.
