I haven't been able to access the Mileage Plus board all day today.

FWIW You can view "today's active topics" and then read the individual UA threads, at least I can. I cannot access the UA forum in the "normal" way.

An even faster method is to simply search the United Search Forum/Archive and enter the number of days to search (e.g. Search By Date: Since Yesterday. All the other fields can be left blank or with their default values.

One more thing... in general you can post replies to threads while the forum is down, and the Last Post time marker will be updated (which can mislead others into thinking that the forum is back up), but the reply and the forum will remain unaccessible.

John looked at our server Friday afternoon and we were at 100% usage and under some very heavy traffic. United, American and sometimes OMNI all lock up when we get slammed like that, probably because they're our most active forums.

It seems to be working well now, though... is anyone having problems getting in now?
