"Post Reply" freezes browser

If I try to reply to a topic using the "Post Reply" button, type my reply, then click on "Submit Reply," I get "Connect:Host realmedia-a800.d4p.net contacted. Waiting for reply..." at the bottom of my browser.

Forever.

And then it freezes up my browser if I try to a) go back or b)open a new navigator window in Netscape (yes, I still use it).

However, if I reply to a post by quoting another post in the thread, it works without a problem.

Any words of wisdom?

for about 4 days now, those advertisement-links 'realmedia-a800.d4p.net' really delay (or time-out) with my browser too.

I'll check with our ad agency to see if it's anything on their end... thanks for the heads-up.

SuperSlug, can you tell me what OS and Netscape version you're running? It may help the techs over there...

Which is what I'm doing now. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Dan, I'm ashamed to admit how far behind the curve I am. I'm running Mac OS 8.5 and Netscape 4.5.

Thanks!

(BTW: Editing posts seems to work just fine, too!)
