Weird message
Got this"
Sorry, we could not post your reply to this topic. Contact your bulletin board administrator and inform them that they may have may run out of available disk space. Their web host may be preventing them from posting new files. When trying to update this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum82/HTML/000131.html Did you archiving affect it? Dorian |
Not sure, Dorian -- I am sure that we're not out of space -- if so I wouldn't be able to post this answer!

Is this perhaps related to recent archiving off additional older threads? Just a guess! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
|
Then why does it show in the search on the current board? I figured this too Doc...but was surprised to pull it up...

There was a problem with the search when we archived, and we're rebuilding the search index. That thread has been archived, so you can read it in FT Archives.
Thanks, Lisa |
Thanks, just thought it was odd...

is anyone still getting that message?
|
Yes, and I got it again this morning, sadly, in this thread! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
AMTRAK IS launching its first nationwide frequent-traveler program http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum1/HTML/003770.html Again, my thought/guess is that it is actually archived and yet it appears as if it were not yet placed there? Hope this helps, Dan. Thanks! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
doc, yes it's actually Archived, and available at:
http://www.flyertalk.com/pasttalk/ft...ML/003770.html I don't know why the update function ignored it when we rebuilt the search index, but I'll work on pulling that out of Miles' search index to avoid further confusion... Thanks for the heads-up UPDATE: It seems to be out of the Search index now, so it _shouldn't_ show up in searches in Miles any longer. I did a search for "launching its first" in the subject lines and came up with no results. I also looked at the oldest Miles threads in MilesBuzz and saw nothing earlier than June (a month after the last post to that thread). doc, how did you find the Amtrack thread earlier? Did you have it bookmarked, or was it linked to from another thread? [This message has been edited by dan at WebFlyer (edited 01-14-2002).] |
I found the Amtrack thread earlier using the FT "SEARCH" feature, as I recall! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
No bookmark, no other link! Thanks Dan! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
