Feature Request...
I visit some message boards on Delphi, and one wonderful feature that they offer is that anytime anyone posts a reply to you, you're emailed to let you know that a reply is waiting and who it's from.
This alleviates the problem of forgetting when one has posted in a thread in a forum one doesn't visit often and not responding to a question because you forgot to look! Is this possible with UBB? |
That is indeed a feature here, although it's limited to the originator of a thread. If you start a new thread, you'll see an option (right below where you enter your post) to receive an email notification when someone adds to your thread.

Dan, I know some other boards offer the option to send an email every time a thread is changed, although this creates a lot of email I always find it an excellent way to track old and lost threads, is this a feature tha UBB can do as well?

I'll check, but I don't think it's part of the normal UBB. If it isn't too much difficulty, we may be able to hack it in; no promises, though http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

FWIW, as far as I'm concerned, Dan, that would be priority number, ... well about, ... maybe some 7 digit number! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
SEARCH may be number one! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif |
