transparency between boards like omni.

could this happen? would it help you people who put on this fantastic site? for tech, i mean.......edit have said it else where. can't get between the 4 areas, boards, or whatever they are. there should be a way at the top to switch between the 4. i mean only for tech. perhaps some others could be added.

clacko, please forgive my ignorance but I'm a little unclear as to what it is that you are proposing here. What exactly is it that you feel would be valueable for your community?

I appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your kind words.

i think that at the top, we need a pull down that says board or whatever the top thing is. so you can get from one to the other of the 4. thanks.

clacko, hello. Thank you for your feedback here and for sending me the email in an attempt to penetrate my density... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I "think" I understand what you're asking now. You are requesting a "drop down" menu to all 4 of the other boards in addition to he 1 that we currently have on the first page of each board...is this correct? That way the navigation to each of the 4 boards would always be in front of you.

Do I understand you correctly?

Thank you for your patience with me.

clacko, hello. Yes, I received your emails and actually you offered a good suggestion. I am going to add the drop down navigation to each and every page on the FlyerTalk bulletin boards. I'm going to add it to the top and the bottom. We feel that this will solve some of the weaknesses of the current navigation and people will feel more comfortable.

So, thank you for your wonderful suggestion...you did good.

While we're at it, maybe moving Omni to the top of the forum list would help divert the random posters from hitting MilesBuzz, thus creating the multiple locked threads which make that board a deadzone.

Great idea!

This way if people are not paying attention to where they are posting, it would end up in catch all category anyway.
Also would make the moderators job easier.
