Hotel/STSN connection problems?
 

Just spent the weekend at various Marriotts in the Detroit area, and each day connected via the STSN high-speed in-room service offered at the hotels.

Everything zipped along quite quickly, except FlyerTalk. AOL.com, AA.com, Planebusiness, a bunch of graphics-intensive sites, everything. But FT was agonizingly, almost unbearably slow (upwards of 3 minutes to load the main page, and at least a minute to call up individual posts). I checked this forum and didn't see any complaints, so I assume FT itself was ok.

Got home this morning and am logged on via AOL dial-up, and it's faster than my STSN/Flyertalk connection was over the weekend.

Is there some sort of technical issue that I should know about?
