change userid and retain post counts?
Is it possible to change ones ID and retain the post counts?
Thanks...SteveH who is currently 330CiC but I may become 325CiC if the market doesn't pick up! |
Unless something has changed recently...no.
There are a few oldtimers here that changed their ID & the counter started over. The ones that come to mind are PG, pitflyer & Guy Betsy, all of whom had different ID's originally. I'm curious, why is Post Count that important to you? I wish they would go away....they say nothing about the 'quality' of the posts. |
It isn't that important...I just was curious if it was possible or not.

IMHO, the difference between the 2.5 and 3.0 engines doesn't justify the price. BMW had to price the smaller one very aggressively to fill the gap left by dropping the 4-cylinder versions and compete with the Audi A4. As a result, the $$ they get for a few more HP is out of proportion to the added power. Unless some 3.0-only option matters to you, it's no biggie.
So don't feel bad. You could be driving a [--] (fill in your favorite other make of car)! |
So, is this FT Tech Problems or BMW Tech Problems? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
