United Threads are Down
 

I cannot get into the United threads. Been trying for 15 minutes. Ironically, www.ual.com is also down. Please tell me the same people that run ual.com are NOT in charge of the United thread here!!!

A tracert shows pretty good times on the flyertalk network. Probably an application or server problem.

In addition to not being able access United threads, the whole board is sssssllllooowww

Still can't access United forum.

I am having trouble all day. Could not access UA board at lunch from the office computer. And still having no luck at home tonight.

Are we still having problems today? I ask because it seems to be working fine for me. I'll be spending a good deal of time today trying to get to the bottom of the problems and would ask that you please continue to be patient. I'll see what I can do to help you.

The problems are not present today... looks like lots of problems yesterday.

How about today, are you seeing the United Forum now? I ask because it's functioning very well on my end. Comes up fast and everything appears to be there.

If you are not seeing it what are you seeing? Are you getting error messages, anything like that?

The United board is working fine again today. It came back last night about 11:15pm FlyerTalk time.

HHHHmmm... 11:15 last night huh? That was almost when my 2 hour late flight left from Chicago to Rochester last night.... I wonder? Any connection to my flight taking off and the United site beginning to work... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
