Hmmm...I am sorry to post a test, but I didn't know where else to do so.

I have been trying to post a trip report all day, and it isn't going through. Figured it was a problem with the FT server (as it said no response from server), but that obviously isn't the case. Any suggestions? The only thing I can think of that might be stopping it is length. Are there length restrictions?

Darren, it was probably a server lag, and not a length restriction on your post. It seems we've outgrown the usefulness of this bulletin board software, so we've been working on a possible replacement with better optimized code and data storage.

Sorry about the troubles you're having. Did you ever get your trip report posted?

Yes I did, thank you. I ended up posting it in two halves, and it was fine. I trust you know your software, but it certainly seems that length was the reason because it wouldn't accept the single post, and immediately after accepted the split post.
