Timed Outs
 

Over the past two weeks, I've been getting Timed Out screens after trying to post on several forums. This has reoccured three times already tonight, and I assume when I click on the "Submit New Topic", the same thing will happen. Anyone else having this same problem. I also find that on many occasions, I will post something and the page returns to its original version, without my post. This new post will only appear after I leave and return to FlyerTalk.

Happened several times to me in the last few days. Was starting to wonder if it was my ISP.

somewhere on this board, Randy explains it with 'heavy traffic' running on the same server, due to the last days of Freddie votings.

That could be part of it, Rudi. As for my ISP, it is excite network/@home high speed [in theory] cable, so not the same time of Timed Out one gets on phone-based ISPs like AOL.

Rudi, I saw that explanation as well, but wasn't the voting completed last week some time?

Same thing happened to me several times today on the AA forum. I tried to post a reply but it timed out. The date on the thread is changed to the time I post, but my reply does not show up in the thread, even after I refresh. Its got to be something other than the Freddies.
