Something wrong with "search" function?
I was browsing through the United forum, and in a number of threads saw ozstamps recently ubiquitous posting on Russians running the Red Carpet Clubs. I'm not sure it was that witty the first time, but I am pretty sure that it can't possibly be worth repeating time and time again. But that's just my personal opinion.
Anyway, I wondered just how often he had copied and reposted that piece, so I decided to do a search. Seizing on the rather creative spelling of borscht, I set the parameters to search for "boorscht" throughout. And got a response that it appeared only one time (in the below thread): http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum50/HTML/004791.html Well, I knew that wasn't correct; after all, I had just come from: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum50/HTML/004894.html and http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum50/HTML/004862.html and I seem to recall a couple more. My question is, why didn't they show up on the search query? |
Perhaps because the Search function did not find it funny either and decided not to show it to you 100 times!!!

I agree Counsellor - very strange. Just to duplicate your results, I went to the United forum and entered OzStamps as the user, and "Aeroflot" as the keyword. I also came up w/ only one thread, even tho this word is clearly in all three posts.

FWIW, I too have had occasional search difficulties, most recently in the AA forum! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
