Why doesn't the "search" feature work?
 

I have used it several times, and I know for a while that it turned up results...but now when I try the same search, no matches come up. I KNOW WE HAVE DISCUSSED THIS BEFORE, but why is it that for a period of time, things were working, and they aren't now?

Was working for me just now. Could be your search criteria (only in subject line or anywhere in message), all topic areas or just a given topic? It is cumbersome and slow when searching all topic areas though.

Search works most of the times, but still has bugs which I outlined before. I wish more people would use search, and that search could be a little more sophisticated.

I think part of it was a "user malfunction"

I was putting quotes around the search words...

Yes, we've been here. I've been testing it off and on for several weeks now and I get mixed responses. According to my records I'm getting good results approx. 95% of the time.

Because of the nature of the problem we've been unable to come up with a good solution...needless to say this may continue to be an issue for a bit longer.

Please be patient as we have several problems that we are attempting to solve and the search issue is by far the most complicated issue.
