When did the font change?
 

I like it. Arial was a bit narrow. This new font is slightly better spaced and easier to read. Did it change last night?

We have not intentionally changed fonts anywhere, where are you seeing this change? On the forum posts?

It looks like the font has changed on the forum posts, but maybe it's just my browser or my imagination.

Knowing the type of people that post to FT, the fact that there is no other thread about it leads me to believe it's the latter :)

The default font on FT has been the same for years on my end and I didn't notice any change in the last couple of days either.

Perhaps you just need a new pair of glasses? :D

I've noticed the font appears different on my (newish) Windows 8.1 PC lately. Perhaps a system update has changed some of the base fonts (I see from the CSS that FT uses Verdana by default).

I thought it looked different on mine too. But only the actual posts, not anything in the box to the left of the post (username, join date, etc.).

Edit to add: this line is done in font size "2", which I THINK is what the default font used to look like.

The CSS of the FT pages define the default fonts to be:
Your browser picks one of these defaults OR an overriding font you have in your settings. In Win8.1 the IE and FF pick the latter two fonts and not the verdana or arial we're used to.
