Threads older than a year have disappeared in forums

I was checking for a thread from a couple of years ago in the private TB forum and noticed that threads older than one year have disappeared. Checked the public TB forum & same thing, both in the discussion forum as well as the official results section.

Checked a variety of forums (hotels, Omni) & it seems that all threads older than one year have disappeared whereas before they displayed. I'm guessing this is a glitch, but please bring back the threads. Thx.

Edited to add: The threads will show up if you do a search with specific keywords (just tried it on a trip report I did a few years ago as a test), so the threads are still there, just not displaying as they normally would.

Cheers.

The threads are all there. It's simply that the default is set to show one year. Go to your profile and set it to show what duration of posts you want. Mine is set for 2 days. You can always change for an individual forum on a one time basis. Go to the lower left when in forum view and set it for the interval that you want.

I have not changed anything in my profile (other than dropping Hilton Gold & UA1K under my handle) since I created it years ago & previously I could see threads going to way back when.

I frequently go back several years when we're considering TB matters and I'm looking for something, and the threads have all been there. I've done so a few times in the last few months when we were considering motions & they were all there. It was them not being there today that brought it to my attention when I was looking for something that was from 2-3 years ago.

IIRC this change in view happened previously & I think I might have posted about it thinking it was a glitch, but of course I wouldn't be able to find it if it was more than a year ago ;) :p :D

Anyway, I've gone into my profile to make the change to forever, so hopefully it will stick. For anyone else who's interested in doing so, it's under the Edit Options section of the stuff listed under your profile & 3/4s of the way down in that section.

Cheers.

Something is definitely up with the search and/or display function.

I did a search on a user id, and previously they showed up in descending order, which is what I have set.

The last search I did showed a 2010 post before a 2012 post

I am having no problem... for example, if I click on "Last" for the thread pages in this forum... it takes me to a page with threads from 1999.

As I mentioned I thought it was a "glitch", as prior to when I reported it I could go back to the beginning as well for threads. Reason I know is that when we had the infamous title discussion in TB & ozstamps was being his charming self :p :D, I went back to check on some TB decisions & they all showed. It was when I went to do the same on the day I reported this to do the same for another TB topic that I realized they had truncated to last year. I had not changed my profile between those two times/done anything different. I also vaguely running into similar about a year ago, so perhaps it's an occasional thing. Anyway, if it happens again I'll go into my profile & make the edit.

Cheers.
