Avatar is not dispayed
 

Hi, I have change my avatar to a custom avatar and it is displayed in my settings. But my Avatar is not displayed in the forum.

Can someone help me?

I have never seen an Avatar on the forum despite having the "Show Avatars" button checked. I just assumed it was not working and couldn't be bothered to ask.

Afaik avatars don't display in the desktop version of Flyertalk but they do display in the mobile app (or at least on the iPhone app as that's what I use)

But this also "voted" avatar is also showing up. So this must be a bug or something IT can fix.

goalie is correct, there are no avatars in the forum posts. The "I Voted" icon is for people who voted in the FlyerTalk Awards.

Is there a reason why not? I think this is the only forum I know of that doesn't have them.

Yes, it is community consensus to keep FlyerTalk about information and a clean display of posts.

Who is the "community" ? And, if it shows on the mobile devices why is it not consistent there? Confused.

I'm not sure what mobile device is being referred to, but it's possible that that's an easier way to ID someone on a small screen.

The community is all of us! Represented at the moderator/admin level by the TalkBoard. I recommend lobbying them if you would like to see such a change.
