Cannot use the Format buttons when writing a comment in Chrome

At the moment, if I try to use the "B" button to bold something, or any of the buttons on the toolbar, it doesn't work. The buttons appear, but when I mouse over, they don't press down.

I'm using the latest version of Chrome. However the problem doesn't occur when I switch back to IE.

Is this a known problem?

I am responding to this post using Chrome and am having no problems with the Bold button.

aaaah I just realised if I prefaced the flyertalk.com URL with https:// instead of http:// then there is a problem.
