I got this in email a couple of days ago around the time Talk Mail used to be delivered.

Will Talk Mail continue to be sent? The content appears to be completely different in News, and I prefer Talk Mail.

TM is a separate entity and will live forever!

Yeah, but I didn't get it this week, at least I don't think I did :)

TalkMail comes out twice a month. The new newsletter comes out once a month. The first time the new newsletter came out, it came out the same week as TalkMail. The plan going forward is for them to come out different weeks.

Boy, am I confused. I would swear I used to get Talk Mail weekly, on Wednesdays. I don't recall ever seeing the newletter before.

But I have been known to miss things :)

I've yet to comprehend the similarities and differences, but I'm getting overwhelmed with "news".

Ever since the very first issue of the TalkMail newsletter was released on November 5, 1999, there have always been two issues per month.

Exceptions include when there was no TalkMail newsletter “published” between October 17, 2000 and October 18, 2003 — a period of three years — and there have been years when three issues of the TalkMail newsletter were released in December.

Since at least 2011, issues of the TalkMail newsletter are usually released on Tuesday mornings.
