New replies when Im replying- alert?
 

Often I try to reply to posts, but while Im typing others reply. This will mostly be missed by me as its not natural to scroll back after my post is online to look for that. Is it possible to get an alert when you click enter for your post that there has been new posts?

This is a well working function on other forums I use.

Not that I know of. I believe you must check the thread yourself.

While it's not the exact feature you want per se, there's a way to find out if other replies have happened while you were typing yours.

If you hit the "Preview Post" button instead of the "Submit Reply" it shows you what your post would look like, but if you scroll down to the bottom of that page it shows all of the replies in the thread thus far, so you can at least check that before hitting the "Submit Reply" button.
