How to change sticky threads in a Forum?

Wondering who to ask to change our sticky thread in the Alitalia MilleMiglia forum (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/alita...llemiglia-635/).

Our current sticky thread since 2006 is "All you need to know about Alitalia's B767's", however the B767's are now phasing out of the Alitalia fleet. This thread can be un-stickied.

The proposed new sticky thread which has been made is "All you need to know about Alitalia's A330's and B777's" which are the newest planes in the fleet and everyone is always asking about. Making this thread a sticky would mean less new threads every week about the same subject (which seats to choose, what the service is like etc.).

We need some sort of a moderator to change the sticky threads.

Thanks,

bungler (on behalf of Alitalia MilleMiglia forum).

Usually there will be a senior moderator assigned to 'look after' a forum which doesn't have any assigned mods - try PMing cblaisd, JDiver, l'etoile and oliver2002 and one of them should be able to help you.

You may also use the "Alert Moderator to this Post" icon in the thread in question. An email will be sent to the appropriate moderator(s); in this case, the Senior Moderators.

As this is not genuinely a TalkBoard topic, the thread will be moved to the proper Forum.

In the meantime, FlyinHawaiian gave the proper instructions.

Use the http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...ons/report.gif icon / radio button to Alert a Moderator to This Post and tell them what you need / observe / reporting a misplaced or inappropriate post, etc.

If the forum has moderators, this "AMP" or "RBP" (as we often call them around here) will go to all the Moderators in that forum;

if the forum has no moderators, the AMP/RBP will go to all the Senior Moderators.

(The issue mentioned by the OP has been taken care of.)
