Unreadable part of talkmail
I get talkmail in gmail.
Along the left are links so that someone can go down to specific articles in the html message. In my email, the links are blue letters on a blue background, and are totally unreadable. I think that making links blue is pretty standard, so this is a poor choice of background. |
Hmm... not seeing this. The links are white on a blue background. Browser setting?

Thanks
It is blue on blue for me in firefox, seamonkey, explorer and chrome. I agree there is probably a browser setting. But I use the defaults for all of them. If it is any help, I can send you some screenshots. |
For me, the email itself arrives just as the OP describes, but there is also an html attachment to the email, and if I open the attachment, the text appears as IBobi describes, white text on blue background. I don't use a web-based email service, but rather a company email system that uses FirstClass email servers.
sosafan, does your email also come with an html attachment? If so, try opening the attachment and see if it appears correctly then. |

Last month the word "talk mail" appeared once in the box,
along with the date, before the unreadable links. This month the "TalkMail" appears twice in white, with the date in between, followed by all the unreadable links. Besides appearing that way with 4 browsers, I have also checked it on 3 other computers; one running windows, one running Linux, and one Mac, and they are all unreadable links. |

TalkMail is being redesigned. This should be resolved with the next version. Not sure if that will be the next issue, but they are working on this :)

Yep, same problem using GMail (and Chrome).

It is six months now, and I totally agree that this is not a big issue. I suspect that we are talking about one line of html somewhere, though it may not be a line that is easy to find.
I am curious, however, and haven't figured out; is there anyone who reads gmail in a browser that can see the links? |
Agreed. But, my TalkMail newsletter still shows the blue box with the slightly different shade of blue web links, difficult to read.
