Glossary/Wiki (FlyerGuide) down?

Hi all! I've been having problems connecting to flyerguide.com, aka the wiki, for several days. Does anyone know anything?

Cholula Dec 22, 2011 10:36 am

We're going to move this to our Technical Issues forum where it's more likely to receive a response.

flyerguide, webflyer and insideflyer.com are currently down as the HOM is experiencing some technical problems.:(

Thanks mods. Looking forward to seeing them back online soon.

What's HOM?

(HOM = House of Miles)

[Since some of the heaviest use of the Wiki comes from the AA Forum, we'll keep this thread here to alert members of further updates. /Moderator]

Glossary broken

In both IE9 and FF8:
on http://www.flyertalk.com/glossary/ all I see is the brief example paragraph, but no actual glossary.
And it loads very slowly in the browser.

thanks!

This seems to be coming up in a number of fora. Perhaps an announcement would be in order?

I agree. Technial problems resulting in total site outages for 2+ weeks deserve an announcement.

Looks like Flyerguide is back online, albeit with some older data (maybe a backup?)

An article I started on 23 Nov is there.

never mind - it's working now

It's back up, and I can log in, but I can't actually edit anything. All attempts to save an edit result in:
Internal error

Set $wgShowExceptionDetails = true; at the bottom of LocalSettings.php to show detailed debugging information.

EsquireFlyer Dec 29, 2011 1:15 am

Can we clone the Flyerguide wiki entry into a Wikipedia article, and edit it there?

Still an issue today... sigh.

This is problematic, in that flyerguide.com is not part of FlyerTalk. It would be somewhat akin to reporting on FlyerTalk that the American Airlines Wikipedia entry was down.
