flyertalk silently logs out while typing a post -- and drops the message on login!!
 

This is extremely annoying.

All other forums I have visited properly handle the case where a logout occurs in the middle of composing a message. When clicking "submit" while unwittingly logged out, a working site takes the login creds again, and then posts the message automatically.

Flyertalk just drops the ball on this. The message is nearly lost forever -- but luckily sometimes it works to hit the back button to get to a form that is still filled. However, the back button also logs out (in effect, because it's still using the old cookie), so submit from there doesn't work. The content must be copy/pasted into a newly composed message using the new cookie. :mad:
