Today's outage
 
Hi all,

We experienced a sitewide outage for about 3 hours today. At this time, we are back online and closely monitoring site activity.

Crawling seems to be the normal state with FT for past few weeks.

Approximately 3 hours from the beginning of the outage until the first open window, when I posted ;)

Then it was pretty much down again until 15 minutes ago.

Whew! Really glad to get back in to FT. Here I thought I'd been banned (ala BFT).

I don't know if you did anything technical, but the response time here seems a little quicker. Might be just cause I was missing my FT fix....

Yeah - seriously. I don't know if y'all did something intentionally, or if this is a happy accident, but the site is finally super quick and snappy on IE9.

During this outage, I realized I could never live without checking FlyerTalk for more than 6 hours. LOL
