Behavior of "ghost" titles after merging
 
Would it be possible to link the "ghost" threads left after a merge to the merged post itself, and not to the beginning of the merged thread. The current behavior makes it hard to find merged posts in large mega-threads.

Have you ever clicked on a thread after it has been merged with another? You are taken to the first post of the second thread, not the post you clicked on.

A=Thread that a mod merges
B=Thread that A is merged into

When you click on A, it takes you to the beginning of B, not the page in B that contains A.

we are aware of the “ghost” issue and have discussed it with our tech team. As of now there isn't really any solution to it. We will certainly let you know if we find one. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more assistance in this matter.
