Does IB not support Java V 6.20 for Chat? Can't log on
 

Up until a few days ago I could access chat via IE (even though AOL browser wouldn't work). I downloaded the latest version of Java V6.20 today via both IE and AOL. Now I can't access Chat via AOL OR IE. Keeps telling me I need to have the latest version of Java. However - I've downloaded it via both browsers; Java is telling me it's up to date. So - what's the problem IB/FT?

Just tested here and was able to access chat with Java 6.20 ... but, I did notice the following:

In IE, under the Tools > Manage Add-Ons, you might check to make sure your Java SE Runtime Environment is enabled. If I disabled this setting, I also received the "need to update" message.

If the setting is already correct and you are still having problems connecting, let me know.
