FT and IE Freezing Up
 

Is anyone else experiencing their Internet Explorer "freezing up" while on FT but not on any other website?

I'm running IE 7, with Vista, and when I try to load a new page or go back, about 1 out of every 5 times IE becomes completely non-responsive and I have to start the task manager to manually shut down IE. This only happens on FT.

Yes! It started before the technical downtime yesterday, but it's been much worse since then. I'm using a laptop PC with an OK but not great internet connection (not wifi, but it works fine for other websurfing), Windows XP Professional, IE, and up-to-date anti-virus software.

I keep getting "cannot display" messages, check connectivity, no problem with connectivity although sometimes (20%?) just checking brings up the FT webpage.

I've been mostly in the Delta forum, but it's happening in other fora also, but not on other websites.

Sometimes when the page tries to load, it flashes between found page, starting to download, and done.

Sometimes when I try to load a page, I get the blue circle in place of the yellow cloud at the top left very briefly and then it acts like it's done, but the page hasn't changed. Other times, the back, jump to forum, and clicking a page number or forum name does absolutely nothing.
