TalkMail Newsletter - links not displaying ?
Whenever I click any of the links in the latest TalkMail newsletter (March 24) I get a "404 -page not found":
http://www.mybrowserbar.com/cgi/erro...8&cco=US&ct=11
Anyone else experiencing this ?

I had this problem to. Another IB enhancement.
And while we're talking about enhancements, Chat was screwed up last night.
On log in, you were only asked for a screen name, not your password. It's usually done this way when Chat is open for a major event.
Lots of silly names being used last night.

This happened to me, too. The problem was that the second half of the link appeared on the line below (in Hotmail) and so when you clicked on the link, you only got the first half...which was a non-existent page. The work-around is to copy and paste the second half of the link into your browser's URL field, but obviously this is a hassle, one which can obviously be avoided since TalkMail links have previously not had this problem.

It appears that IB has decided to use a link tracker. But their link tracker breaks the links at the first dash.
We've notified IB of this problem and not sure if the right thing to do is to resend. Hate to hog the mailboxes, but would hope that the information is useful.

The team that manages our email delivery is looking at the problem now. Hopefully we will be able to get this fixed shortly and either resend the newsletter or post a copy of it online. Online availability may be more considerate of members email boxes.
Either way I will update here.

OK-
The links are fixed and the correct version of the newsletter is available in the archives at http://www.flyertalk.com/talkmail/. We had enacted some additional network security last week that adversely affected the tool that we use to produce newsletter.
I apologize for the inconvenience, we don't expect further complications.

Nice that the last few issues are back on the talklinks page; seems like a few were never added; any chance that the recent ones will be added.
Does ticking the box disable or enable the talkmail or is talkmail added manually.
If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option.
