My Posts to not come on new posts

I have created some new posts today and replied to a few but after they are entered the posts do not show up on the new post main page. They can be found under the program only. Why is this happening.

As you've "read" that thread, it will not appear in your list - the way the list is generated has changed.

IB made a change to the way the My Flyertalk list is generated - there is another thread on the topic in this forum (and I think IB has posted a notice now of the change).

But everyone elses posts come up on new posts as they are created so why not mine.

As noted above, because FT assumes you have read your own post, it will not recognize your post as new.

Fwiw, we've been assured this enhancement results in a better user experience for everyone, and that it's more accurate.

Fear not. Your posts will show up as new posts for everyone else.

I think FT's assumption here, that you know what you posted (and, if not, at least know that you posted it) is reasonable. No need to tell anyone "Hey, look at what you just wrote!"

Was just about to ask this. Initially you think you somehow managed to not press post and so check back. I can't say I like it.

There are (at least) several who feel the same way.

I experienced this for the first time less than a week ago.
I bothered poor moderator l'etoile about it, and he had no idea.

Happened again 10 minutes ago, but this time
I finally got smart enough to look over here.

Now I see it is NOT a bug, but a FEATURE !! :D

Not sure why.......,
but I had a habit of scanning "new posts" for my post.

I kept telling myself "It HAD to be there",
re-checking my post time,
scanning "new posts" over and over and over.

No problem now that I know. :p

I'm getting used to it, too, but it did give one a start, didn't it? :)
