New Thread Issue - Created Thread on Mobile Site

Earlier this evening, I attempted to create the thread, Septa mailine switch failure 2/12/2010

in FlyerTalk Forums > Travel&Dining > Travel&Dining: Destination >> United States > Mid-Atlantic

using the mobile site to alert anyone who might be traveling on Septa about a delay.

If I go and attempt to view that thread, it displays the page the thread is on but doesn't display the post.

The switch on Septa's mainline has been fixed and the train I was on finally started moving again.

I posted 2 replies to this from the mobile site and neither showed up. Oddly, before typing this reply, the forum showed me as the last poster on this thread. I also experienced this problem with this thread http://gallery.flyertalk.com/wap/Get...t=1053250&bat=

The delta thread is More good news for lax and it also shows me as the last poster, but my post is missing.

Weird, I posted a reply to this thread on wap and it did not show up. I switched to html and it was there. Very strange indeed.

I will let tech know

thanks

Add this one to the problem list too. I posted at least one post, and probably two.
The main page showed that I posted, but the post is no where to be seen (literally)

So, there was some weirdness on the site that we think we have found the cause of, but we aren't sure that this is related. Is this still happening?

Did this reply post?

Check the post count for this thread. An earlier post of mine did not show up, and my attempt to edit the immediately preceding post failed.

Still happening for sure. I have almost a dozen posts in the DL forum via WAP that have not been posted. Strange though, I still receive email updates from the thread as if it subscribed me instead.

Strange - one of my big hangups with the mobile site is you don't get subscribed to threads you post to (when that works, of course).

Ah, I thought I was going crazy when I noticed This Thread is listed in the OTBBA forum list as having three replies when it only in fact has two. Perhaps someone tried to post something by mobile and the post didn't show up but it still counted in the number of replies.

This thread is having the same issue, saying 13 replies in the list (before I posted this one) and only 10 replies appearing (again, before mine).
