do PMs not generate emails anymore?

I used to receive an email when I got a PM. Now I don't seem to. And I can't find them in my spam folder. What am I missing here?

Have you checked that you still have that option set in your profile?

Yep, I have that checked. Maybe it is a weird email problem. I'll investigate my gmail and see if I have FT blocked or something. :)

Well I'm still getting RBP's emailed to me, and usually when one system fails, the other fails (but not always!). I don't do the e-mail on PM thing however!

I still get email notification of PMs--except for when I receive PMs from exactly one person: SeeYa. When she PMs me, I get a text notification from [email protected]. I vaguely remember giving my phone's text message address ([email protected]) in the settings of the FlyerTalk Mobile interface for PM notifications, but I never got any text notifications...until a recent PM from SeeYa. Since then, I've gotten two more PMs from her, and they both came as text notifications instead of email notifications. (The text notifications are annoying, since they only tell you that you got a PM and not what the PM says.)

I don't know what's different about SeeYa and why only PMs from her come to me as texts (and skip my regular email notifications). She's not listed as one of my WiContacts (whatever the heck that means). Maybe she's PMing me through the FT Mobile interface, and that bypasses the regular PM notification system and sends it directly through the WiForums servers to my SMS notification address?

I am also still getting email notifications about new posts in threads (at least the two or three threads I subscribe in which I subscribe to email alerts). There were some delays and dropped emails when the hacks first started several weeks ago, but I haven't seen any problems since then.
