Wirelessly posted (Blackberry : BlackBerry9700/5.0.0.296 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Can not access FT at all on Firefox. My Blackberry wap works. What's up?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE71-2/100.07.76; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

Looks like another hack - I was taken to some kind of Rapidshare site.

The hackers probably figured that a holiday weekend would be a time when tech people might not be available.

Edited to add: A-HA! They were wrong about no tech people. Good work! ^

cockpitvisit Dec 27, 2009 5:52 pm

Works again with Firefox. ^ to the tech people for quick response.

serfty Dec 27, 2009 6:07 pm

Started about 35 minutes ago with (from memory) an error about config file already exists, then something about config.new.

Further refresh displayed dupdb ...

It's not the only site this has happened to recently:

I got the PM - but wasn't on FT at the time to see the hack...

Steph3n Dec 27, 2009 8:55 pm

It was supposedly a zero day attack last time, wonder what it is this time.

I tell ya, once these idiots get in once, they won't give up. And they install backdoors....the servers need a total refresh.

ElmhurstNick Dec 27, 2009 9:08 pm

Good job??? Getting hacked a second time by the same people does not qualify as a good job.

QuantumLeap Dec 28, 2009 12:53 pm

Thanks for the quick fix. Just deleted two bogus private messages from my inbox. Haven't been here for awhile, so was surprised to get an email notification of PMs :D

jaguar Dec 29, 2009 8:51 am

I got two FT messages sent to me.

How do I delete the rapidshare message without reading it?

wharvey Dec 29, 2009 10:12 am

Just go to your Private Message Mailbox. Click on the box to the right of the message, it should put a check mark in the box. Do this on every message you want to delete. Then go to the bottom of the screen where there is a field and a pull down box "Selected Messages". Choose "Delete" from the pull down box and then click "GO". That will delete the messages without your having to open.

jaguar Dec 29, 2009 10:44 am

Thanks wharvey for your quick reply. I got flustered having two potential hacker messages.

These are the kind of criminals that the federal security authorities in the US should be prosecuting with their billions of dollars of resources, instead of wasting it all on hassling innocent air travellers.
