Stuck in iPhone skin [Merged threads]
 

My skin preference is stuck in the "iPhone skin" and I can't change it because the MyFlyerTalk page for this skin does not have an option to change these preferences.

I've reset your skin to the forum default.

The iPhone skin seems to be trying to set the theme to -1 not 15.

Actually, the correct style now is 17. We've made two updates to the style since that post was made.

style -1 is used to mean the default style. It's a much better option then linking to a specific id, but we've had problems in the past where it's caused other issues, so we posted the id as a more sure-fire way of getting people out of the iphone skin.

I was tooling around an chose iPhone skin. Now I cannot switch it back because there is no account access on this skin. Oops. Help?!

I eventually had to find the cookie in my browser and delete it and it seemed to solve the problem, though it is not the usual flyertalk cookie. I think it might have been something related to Internet Brands. Others might remember more.

Can't get out of iPhone skin
 

Can a Mod please reset my account to the normal skin? Hitting "Normal Version" does nothing - the only way I can get back is to logout but as soon as I login, I am back to the iphone skin.

I didn't see a way to get to my profile to change it back manually either from this skin. Please kindly assist!

I just changed my option for the forum skin to iPhone. However now I can't find my user settings to set it back! Any suggestions?

Stuck in iPhone mode
 

After joining I went to settings and made my default display the iPhone friendly one. However, i am now stuck in that mode. Clicking "normal version" at the bottom left of the page does nothing. The only fix is to log out.... Which means I can't post. While I am logged in I can't use all the features. Help.

Can you check again to see if it is now fixed? I've changed your mode to normal. Let me know if you can or can't see the change.

Changed theme to IPhone - how back?
 

Hi Admin

In the account settings there is somewhere a drop down list where you can select the theme or skin of FT. I changed this to "IPhone" (I guess) on my computer and now the whole look and feel has changed to something looking like a mobile version. So far so good.

Now; I can't switch the skin back because I can't go back into my account settings because there is no more link or menu!

I didn't find any information regarding this, maybe I'm simply too stupid to change it back. Do you have any ideas how to solve this prob?
