loading pixel.quantserve.com

And it never loads. Constantly loading, constantly loading...

Also waiting on comet.ibsrv.com now.

They are analytics sites. They do occasionally load eventually but I, too, have the long delay issues.

Well they're stupid and IBB needs to get its act together.

I'm confused. FT either loads or doesn't for me.

Depending on what machine I'm on (and browser configuration) sometimes FT will load but the browser taskbar will say loading and the mouse will show the hourglass. I can read and respond to posts, but the browser thinks the whole page hasn't loaded yet because it is waiting for that stupid pixel from quantserve.

I assume on your home computer, though, you've edited the .hosts file to point to localhost?

An easy way to do this is with http://www.funkytoad.com/index.php?o..._content&id=13

Now I understand. I've never had the problem with the FT site but it happens a lot on the BBC site. The interesting part is that when I <back> to the previous page it has no problem completely loading.
