That's why I always credited it to TAP except Biz. Both O(Discount, some Basic) or E(Basic) get me nothing for my three major program (UA,ANA,Avianca).
Well, I almost can't believe it. Glad I found this thread.
There are no more certainties in this world if you can't even believe booking codes...

Are all TAP business class fares booked in C, D, Z, or J? On the web page it only lists "Executive" and "Top Executive." I am a bit paranoid because on the United partner earnings page, it shows a P class that earns zero. Some *A members use this for discount business class; I don't want to buy a ticket and find myself stuck with that.

Crediting to UA

I am booking a ticket and will credit to UA. Between discount, basic, and classic, which ones will credit to UA? The routing will be CMN-ORY.

Hi Guys,

Am travelling TAP soon and crediting to AirNZ airpoints.

Booking fare class for my flights is
U02BSC0C
O04BSC0B
O02BSC0A

Please tell me is it the first letter of this code that relates to earn fare class?

Trying to work out what maps across to airpoints.

Thank you

Air Canada Aeroplan website says M, H, Q = 100% miles on TAP. Is TAP Classic = M, H, Q? How can we get this info before booking?
Thanks.

Short answer, you can't. Expect to earn based on O, E, or T and if you get more, be pleasantly surprised as there doesn't seem to be a way to guarantee earning more than that on partner programs.

Discount, Basic, Classic, or even Plus, it doesn't matter. They share the same fare code. The fare code solely depends on the flight. (day of week and the date you book)

So how can I see these fare codes prior to purchase? Call TAP?
I need M, H or Q.

Where did you even get those fare codes from?

I am also looking for the booking class of my TAP flights booked through TAP directly. I did check on Expedia before booking (according to which it was L), but want to make sure.

if booked through TAP you need to read the text-only email you received (you should have receive 2 emails from TAP after payment) , then search for the fare code for each segment

warning = OTA might display their own codes which are not the same as those from airlines
