Airport Escort Pass at EWR
I would like to escort an elderly relative to the gate at EWR. She will be flying out to Lisbon with TP. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I wonder if the easiest path here is for me to buy a fully refundable ticket for a flight taking off from the same terminal shortly after hers.

A fully refundable ticket being very expensive might be risky if there's a time limit to refundability on the day of travel
