EU 261 claim for TAP cancellations

Where do I send the claim against TAP on a January 6 flight that was cancelled?

also having difficulty discovering the reason of cancellation. I’ve called TAP twice and reps can’t provide me an answer. I also emailed, they said I need to call ha. Is this public info online?

TP927 & TP1485 we’re both cancelled Jan 6

The website will list the contact center relevant to your country. Did you not receive any notification of the cancellation?

I can’t access my ExpertFlyer account right now, but the reason for cancellation should be visible there. Maybe someone else can post it for you. I would just file a claim and let them explain why.

For EU261, do I just mail a letter to HQ and use a template online? Any best practices you can share?

I would mail it to their CS department relevant for your country. There is no need for anything specialised, just keep it simple and to the point. Don’t belabor anything with emotion, just state the facts. There is a great thread in the BA forum on this. Read that wiki.

Could I email them or does it work better to physically mail it to Lisbon Head Office? I am not seeing an address for a USA office.

Cheers. Historic data only available for 7 days unfortunately (on my version).

I was also travelling on TP1485 but on 4th Jan and this was cancelled too with no explanation given.

I filed for EU261 on 6th Jan and the current status is still 'under analysis'

Is there a time limit for them responding to it or any suggestions what I can do next?

Did you mail yours in with any proof of sending such as registered mail, etc?
