TAP Aircraft 32 Q and Seat question

TAP Aircraft 32 Q and Seat question

Hello,

First time posting so sorry if this is a silly question

I am flying 11/18 IAD-ORLY VIA LISBON. and Return on 11/22

I am flying business. I can't find a seat map and the online option to choose seats isn't showing as available when I look at my reservation. I just called and the CSR said the seating was 3 across for all the flights with the center blocked out and the aircraft were all 32Q.

I know this is standard Business for inter Europe flights but I assumed the transatlantic flights would be more comparable to business class seats.

Was the CSR wrong or should I temper my expectations'?

CSR was wrong. You'll fly the A321LR in the transatlantic leg. You can find more info here.

I asked for aisles seats and I assume he would have been looking at a seat map and realized he was wrong. It's baffling how little he seemed to know.

I also keep receiving notices that say " time to choose your meal". or " please select your seats " but when I follow the links none of those options are available. is there website notoriously poor?

Yes, their website is very poor. This is unfortunately in the realm of expected behavior.

Thanks I just now received a notice my return flight has changed and to accept the new flight.

However when I compare the details all the times and dates are the same as my original reservation.

the LIS - ORY segment uses the 3x3 with the middle seat empty for "business", which is typically from 2 to 6 rows back..
