Has anybody tried the roasted octopus?

I would think it would be impossible to make octopus not chewy on a plane, but has anybody tried it?

Actually, if anybody has tried any of these I'd be interested to hear thoughtsI'll be going FCO-LIS-IAD and these are the meal options
  • Sirloin Steak, Potato au Gratin, Mushroom and Rosemary Sauce
  • Spinach Green Grantortellone, Cauliflower Cream and Azores island Cheese

For LIS-IAD
  • Roasted Octopus, Potato with Olives and Herbs, Basil Olive Oil
  • Beef pie, mushroom and aubergine puree
  • Pumpkin Cappellacci, green asparagus, Azores island Cheese, tomato sauce

I don't think FCO-LIS will have those choices. Could be an error on the website. You will likely get a typical intra-Europe light meal (chilled).

At meal times, the meals posted by the OP actually are the options for intra-EU flights on TP. The meals are hot and they come with peanuts and drinks, followed by a starter, a dessert, bread, and butter.

The times I had the octopus it was perfectly cooked, but if you're afraid, the beef pie is a safe option.

I actually have a flight LIS-GIG next week and I have these three choices too to pre select:
  • Roasted Octopus, Potato with Olives and Herbs, Basil Olive Oil
  • Beef pie, mushroom and aubergine puree
  • Pumpkin Cappellacci, green asparagus, Azores island Cheese, tomato sauce
Honestly, I don't like any!... I wish a normal beef would be available... I did search, but inconclusive answer: If I dont choose one of these three, do I find something different onboard, or, this is what they will have?

Also, for a "child meal" in business, do you know what would usually come?

Thanks in advance,
redrobin

You'll only be able to have a different meal if you order a special meal.
